When explorers from Earth finally do step foot on Mars and look around, this is what they want to find. And what is that? Read K. G. McAbee's great tale to find out.

A touch surreal, and a fun read. Perhaps a jostling of ideas worthy of a novella? But hey, it is space opera and there's nothing wrong with that!

Good read. :) I really liked the sense of realism in the story. I got to see the details, not only rough descriptions. I loved the dialogue: Real people talking, not fantasy characters. The story has a simple premise. It wasn't explored in depth, but then this is a short story anyway.
