While investigating her brother's strange behavior, Ava Frost uncovers a government secret that will alter the entire world. Vampires, werewolves, witches. They all have their own origins, and Earth isn't it. These creatures are the ancestors of aliens who have crash-landed on the Earth throughout history. But that's not what scares Ava the most. About V.G. Harrison

Science fiction has been my love since I was a little kid who purposely tried to stay up at 11pm to watch Star Trek. When Star Wars hit the scene, I would've given anything--even pay a total stranger--to watch it everyday at the movie theatre. Of course, my parents would've yanked me out of my seat by the scruff of my neck. But...my all-time favorite is Alien 2. And here I thought Alien wouldn't be topped.

So what does any of this have to do with me and my writing? Well, I've been writing for a few years now and even though I watch a lot of sci-fi, I don't read it nearly as much of it as I do paranormal. So, it made sense to combine the two and come up with my Project Solstice series.

I currently live in North Carolina with my family and am a disenchanted member of the rat race.

I loved this book, I couldn't put it down as soon as I started reading it. I really enjoy Sci-fi but this

incorporated a supernatural twist to the genre that made it even more exciting. The main character Ava was

interesting and inspiring and as the story progressed I soon found myself very attached to her and personally

invested in solving this mystery. Well thought out and well written V.G. Harrison had me on the edge of my seat

with this one.I can't wait to start the second book in this series!

After finishing this book, I can definitely say that I am very happy that I stumbled upon VG Harrison. The book description really had me curious but I had no idea that the story was going to play out in the way that it did and more so by how well the story would be expressed. The plot is clearly well-thought-out and it's evident to me that the author is really passionate about his craft and has put a lot of effort into perfecting this work in every way possible.

I really admire the eloquent, visually rich writing style that expresses the story in a manner that gives you a lot of detail when needed and a much more mysterious style when the plot requires, during a suspenseful scene. I am also particularly impressed by the character development and how they fit so well into the story, VG Harrison has incorporated many different themes from other genres into one final blend that makes for a great new addition to the sci-fi genre. The author really makes use of a lot of great literary elements almost flawlessly and the end result is a book that is sure to impress even the most critical readers out there, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future releases!
