this publication consists of two essays on social inequality and an interview conducted with non-conformist professor of economics. in many countries which were once categorized as ‘advanced’ or developed’, the political system works in favour of the rich. how many of these individuals got rich to start with, is seldom asked, but it is safe to assume that few gained their wealth and fortunes through honest work. the fact remains, where wealth is gained by unfair means and on the backs of the poor, social divisions become entrenched, societies become polarized. these articles are brought together here in a format that allows the reader to access them as a unit. featuring an explanatory introduction and two bonus short commentaries.
