I’ve watched the sunrise from the top of Mt.Fuji and I've burnt my fingers in the sand of a volcano. I've drank from glacier fed streams and ate berries from bushes in high alpine meadows. I’ve swam in the Pacific Ocean on both sides of the world. I’ve been charged by bears and chased by sealions, escaped the vicious beak of a one eyed pellican and laughed as I scared off a couple of enormous moose that could easily have trampled me. These are just some of the things that I've been lucky enough to have experienced in my life so far.
It was books that started my love of exploration and adventure. Ulysses, Sparrowhawk, Natty Gann, Riverwind, Davy Crockett and Captain Nemo. Little House on the Prairie. The Lost World. The Swiss Family Robinsons. White Fang. These were the stories that fuelled my imagination. And endless summers were spent sitting under trees with a good book in the breezy sunshine.
Eventually I was able to travel on my own, see a bit of the world, meet some amazing people and have some fantastic experiences.
Now, living in the Canadian Badlands, it's my turn to imagine fantastic tales of adventure and mystery for you to enjoy from a bright window seat, under an apple tree, or in front of a warm fire.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy reading my books.
