Review by: Delia Frank on July 13, 2014 :
I toyed with using a lower rating because it's a funny book and has a great story for kids but the execution at times felt a little forced or a little predictable. But in the end my kids won out. We read it together and it's perfect for that pre-teen, young teen or a maybe 8 or 9 year-old. Some of the way she represents the kids and the main character are actually very clever and believable. For kids I'd recommend this. For adults having to read it to the kids it might be more of a four star. BTW--there seems to be some formatting issues with the online read format, but when I downloaded the PDF it all looked fine.
