This is the poetry with Gothic and macabre undertones, however there is also a light that shines ahead. Come with Erin M. Miller on her journey of self-reflections and making new allies in places she never originally thought possible. This is a collection of poetry that will move even the most stoic of readers.

About Erin Miller

Erin is the oldest in a family of six and the only girl. She was born prematurely and almost died due to respiratory distress syndrome and a heart murmur. Her father had a Catholic Priest baptize her and read her the last rites after doctors said she wouldn't make it through the night. She lived against all odds.
Growing up was not easy for her either! People expected her to be 16, pregnant, and a high school drop out. In fact, she was a special education student with testing modifications and people thought she would never make anything of herself. She has certainly proved them wrong!
Her art style is best explained as raw and addicting. People can't seem to get enough of her work and ask for numerous commissions. Art is Erin's life and passion! It is the one thing that she agrees brings communities together.
Today, Erin is a freelance artist/graphic designer. She has also become a published author, gallery teacher, and a performance poet.

In "The Tides of Change," which is a book of poems by Erin Miller, she covers a wide range of topics including love, depression, accomplishments, and many others. The topics are things that her audience can relate to across a wide span of age groups. You can definitely tell that Miller has an extraordinary passion for writing and that she works really hard at it. I absolutely love her writing and "The Tides of Change" was no exception. I would absolutely recommend that people read this book of poems.
