An excellent read! Donald does a superb job of taking you on an unexpected journey along the Romantic Road, to the well-known and recognizable Neuschwantstein Castle (the German castle that inspired the Disney castles in Orlando and California.) He follows a great tradition of travel writers who share their journey through their passions. In Donald’s case it is through food and his love of castles. Like all good books in this genre, An Amorous Route, is a fun read that makes you want to carve out your own niche along the same path.
