This was a pretty good story, and I did like the twist, but I saw it coming. The start was great, but the finish didn't keep the pace. Worth the read if you've got 15 minutes to kill.

Back Roads was a great read. Highly suspenseful which kept me reading to the end. The story was not only well written I read it at break neck speed. From the onset I was hooked and the speed of the story never let up. I thought the ending was clever and not what I expected. Again, well done.

This is the second short story I've read from this author. Good writing and good story. I highly suggest. My only wish was it could have been longer.

Picturesque, tautly written, this short story held my suspense and made my index finger tremble upon clicking to the next page.

I just wish I had more information about the young man's life. Had there been an attempted suicide, trouble at school, trouble at home, or a kind of emotional isolation (from society)?
