Review by: Chantale Reve on April 22, 2011 :
To hell with The Amityville Horror. I prefer the psychological drama as much as the horror story in Violet Lights, much how I favored Ghost Story over Poltergeist -- both horror films of the 1980s.

I don't want to give anything away in this review, so I'll just say: Read Joshua Scribner's Violet Lights: A Short Story in the daylight.
