A language teacher and proclaimed cook and baker, I discovered my flair for cooking in my mother's kitchen at a very early age. I developed it further, cooking for my family and friends as well as during my years of travel and my association with many food-loving friends.
Born in Egypt, I qualified in Italy and Britain, and in Milan specialised in teaching translation and simultaneous interpretation.
I combined my love of teaching and my creative love of cooking to produce a step by step book of recipes and memories that will guide you through my tried and tested cherished recipes.
I'm happily married, and accompany my husband Tony, a consultant petroleum engineer, during his many assignments as I enrich my palate and explore the delights of ethnic and international cuisine.
We now live in France, but are always "on the go", ready to travel, learn and experience and enjoy.
I hope that you will read, try my recipes and share my joy of cooking.
