About Michael Arnold

Hi my name is Michael Arnold I live in the small boring town of Gastonia, North Carolina fifteen minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina where there is a lot more excitement there so I can't complaining about my boring town of Gastonia right? Lol! I help my mother out who is blind and has been blind all of her life but for some odd reasons she helps me just as much as I help her often times saying: "Hi Michael I cooked chicken and I made sure I cooked enough for you!"
"Thanks mom!" I always reply. I love writing I been writing since 2004 I'm still learning each and everyday how to become a better writer. Stephen King is my favorite author although I never wrote any horror I still love reading his work he really know how to tell a story. I love Smashwords and I think what Mark Coker has done to give me a chance and other authors to put books online is splendid. Did I say I have a few books online? Oh, I did didn't I lol!
I love to read and write and fortunately I have a few books to share with you. I do it because I love it and because of Smashwords I have the opportunity to share what started off as sketchy ideas in my head to become a full short story or novel on my computer. I know this isn't part of a bio but I just want to say thanks to all of you that come across my page, download samples, books, short stories or just look at illustration I am appreciated of it all.
I hope all of you have a great day today! Thank you.

Wonderful story. This author definitely has a way with words whether he's writing for adults or children. No one could give anything but 5 stars for this story.

I just finished reading this story over 3 days. My kids are going to love it when I read it to them (I like to get familiar first with a story).
Would have loved to have seen pictures throughout the book as it helps the little ones along but it is still a great read and the author knows how to tell a good story.
