A thoughtful and moving short story. The characters are reasonably well defined through their dialogue. Rather than push his point of view the author leaves it up to you to ponder the rightness or wrongness of the story's conflict.

I read this a while ago and thought it was very good. Though it is a short story, the connection between the charactors is well established, and it makes the end of the story very moving, I highly recommend it.
