Extended description

In the world of Aedra, a boy named Valor lives a simple life in the quiet countryside. However, his world is suddenly turned upside down when he finds the Book of Typherion.

Far from home in a strange land, Valor is led on a journey of discovery: one that will test his strength, cunning and fortitude. As he learns more about the mysterious book, he is drawn into a war that has been waging since time began. A great power is growing and the only thing that can stop it is the crusty old book in his hands. Valor must come to terms with this fate or suffer all of Aedra to destruction.

An exceptional book! Well written and the protagonist's strong character coupled with Dusty's humour makes for a perfect match. The book starts a little slow so you need you give it 4-5 chapters but I promise it's worth it! I agree with another poster here - it's def a fantasy book but not high fantasy where everything and everyone is magic. It's closer to Tolkien in that there is little magic and powers but a true fantasy world. The author has done an amazing job at weaving the world of Aedra together to make it a believable place. I highly recommend you read it. Now on to the second one!!! Can't wait!

This book is a horrible rip-off of Harry Potter, with a little Alice in Wonderland thrown in. Ugh!!! And, dear Author, please learn how to use phrases, punctuation, spell-check and grammar correctly. (Actually, I think the author is a kid, trying to sound like a grown-up.)

I loved it. It needs some editing but if you can get past that you'll love it too. It's a very fun book to read and very creative and original.

An incredible book. I would have easily paid $15 for this. It ranks with the likes of Harry Potter and the Hobbit. I'm not sure why this isn't a best seller but I bet it soon will be. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever read the Hobbit and wondered when the next great childrens fantasy novel will come out!
