About Rori O'Keeffe

Rori O'Keeffe was born in Cork, Ireland in 1975. She emigrated to Ottawa, Canada, with her parents in 1979, and now resides in her two bedroom cottage near Perth, Ontario, with her six cats and eight goldfish.

Raised by storytellers, Rori began to write creatively by age six - as soon as she knew the alphabet and a handful of words. She says that the core of her approach to writing hasn't changed since: Go heavy on the drama, invent a few surprises, and don't forget that people like to smile and laugh.

She writes poetry and short fiction by day, and is plotting her first novel by night, expecting to publish that work by late 2014
