The Folded X - Volume 1

"Never had I ever met anyone so gifted in her own personal sense of time travel and the ability to toggle between and navigate through the vicissitudes of temporal territories as Lexanna. In her presentation of herself before my eyes, the body that she possessed operated on an economy that was entirely stripped to the bare bones essential rules of continuity of movement..." -Trent in The Folded X More

About G.R. Redland

G.R. Redland has been updating The Folded X series. Volumes 1 through 3 are in pre-launch.

G.R. Redland or Grant Ryan Redland is the pseudonym for the genre and SF writer Bryan Hsuan.

First begun in the second half of 2003, The Folded X was a short novella that was established in 6 short chapters, written initially in Los Angeles and completed directly online in a serialized version. The Folded X was then discontinued until 2011 after Bryan enjoyed a number of years of challenging and difficult work writing screenplays in Los Angeles. Once having relocated to Northern California, Bryan then began again to work in earnest, starting afresh with a new storyline and a new approach: stream-of-consciousness writing and/or automatic writing. From 2011 until May 2013 Bryan proceeded to complete an initial draft of the series, which includes books 1 through 6. No sentence was written planned ahead of the last. Variations of the first three volumes were consecutively first self-published here (Smashwords) and they were presented to readers on February 7th, 2014.

Volumes 4 to 6 of The Folded X series, published under the name of G.R. Redland, are coming before or by Winter 2015.

Bryan is working on another genre book under the name of G.R. Redland and also an Asian American novel under his own birth name.
