I like to laugh. I like witty people. When I'm not writing, riding my horses, or working in my garden, I'm a professor, School of Social Work, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA.
I write children's books, poetry, books on children with special needs, and books on many other topics based on research I have done for many years. I also comment on public events.
My writings are available on Amazon Kindle, iBooks, smashwords.com, scribd.com, createspace, and many other ebooksellers.

A cute very short children's story. I am a horse owner of a rescue horse that can't be ridden due to previous owner's negelect. I took her knowing that and yes, now that I'm forever person, she has transformed and is this is the message, I think, in this story. A message about, not only a horse wanting loving care (and they do) but a child. Good message. What I would have like more with this story was pictures. I think pictures, drawing or even photos would make a child much more interested in it. The subject matter could open up a dialogue to teach a child to be more aware of those needing compassion.
