Luke Zane dealt with the claim jumpers Clifford Bones & Tiny Wilkins. Luke & Jesse helped him pan for gold also at/on Devil's Fork.
Bartholomew James McCoy (Golden Eagle saloon) was Clifford’s & Tiny’s Boss in Dry Gulch. Clifford did not make it back. Bartholomew & his boys confront Luke about a 50/50 share of the gold. Jasper Pike drew his gun & was shot, as was the others except Bartholomew. Lots of the town folk appeared out of nowhere.
Awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written exciting western short story (book). It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. Quite a few twists/turns. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of interesting scenarios & a great host of characters. This could make a great movie or TV series. No doubt in my mind a very easy rating of 5 stars for this book.
Thank you for the free short story (book)
