After 43 years of yo-yo dieting, and battling my weight, I not only won the battle... I waged a WAR against my body and I WON!
Four years ago, I began a journey... a journey towards a healthier lifestyle. This journey took me on a road towards major life changes. One of the biggest being the loss of nearly 50 pounds! I wanted to share my journey and success with others so that they may be able to find their way to a new and healthier lifestyle as well.
I didn't lose my weight by using diet pills, spending 5 hours a day in the gym, or any of the fad "lose weight quick" plans. I took off the weight slowly by eating healthy. These books (2 so far, and the 3rd in progress and on its way any day now), are full of the recipes I used to not only help me lose the weight, but are recipes I still use everyday to help me now maintain my weight four years later!
In my 1st ebook "Into Your Skinny Jeans- Real-Life Recipes to get You Into your Skinny Jeans at ANY Age", you can find the details of my journey in the beginning. I had never shared a lot of the details of my "Life Change" with many people, not even my family. My feelings before, during and after the weight loss, my starting weight, the list of foods I ate, etc. You will also read about the dramatic way my health has improved after the weight loss, not to mention my marriage!
My 2nd ebook, "Into Your Skinny jeans, vol.2-More Healthy Recipes to KEEP you in your Skinny Jeans", adds some more recipes that I just could not fit into the first book. I was on a roll, but I had to stop somewhere!
The 3rd ebook, "Into Your Skinny Jeans, Vol. 3-Recipes to help You Slow Cook your way into Skinny Jeans", just published in May 2014, is a book of Slow Cooker recipes. Not only will you find healthy recipes for main courses, you will also find recipes for side dishes to go with them, and believe it or not, some desserts for the slow cooker as well!
I use my own recipes on a regular basis for my husband and son, daughter and son-in-law, and coming soon...my first grandson! I have passed these recipes down to my daughter and my son's girlfriend. They use them as often as I do. It makes me feel good to know that they are eating healthy with a little help from Mom!
