Conash: Dead Son is one of the most heart-rending stories I’ve ever read. This prequel to The Queen’s Blade series had me in tears in places, though I’ll admit to laughing rather hard in other places. A brilliant mix of gut-wrenching pain and stomach-cramping humour!

This book tells the tale of how a gentle, innocent young boy was led to being a pitiless, cold-hearted assassin. By now, you’ve probably read the other books in this series and know why Blade is the way he is. However, knowing why and experiencing it with him are entirely different things, so have a few tissues handy even if you aren’t prone to getting teary when you read.

This book will exceed your expectations in countless ways.

Good series, Blade is mesmerizing. I would prefer less repetition in the 4th & 5th book but enjoyed reading all and would recommend this series. M. Lawrence and Jim Butcher are other authors I read.

A great read which entices you to continue with the rest of the series. All the books are hard to put down once you have started to read them.

"CONASH" is a must read if you have read any of the "Queen's Blade" series. It and the 2nd Prequel are important background material for the series. It would be better to read the prequels first; but, who does that? I like her style, fast paced action series in the pattern of 30's & 40's short movie features.

My reviews are very simple, I either like the book and recommend it or I don't.
I like the book and recommend it. the author is at par with my favorite Sci-fi authors (David Weber, Anne McCaffrey, David Drake) to name a few.
