Fantastic story. It almost makes you like Adam and certainly shows there are many faucets to the personality of everyone, even evil villains.

This story is exactly why I don't go following strange noises down a dark alley. In my opinion, this is a refreshing change from the teen lovelorn vampire story I typically run across when browsing through books.

I really enjoyed this peak into Joleene Naylor's world of vampires and look forward to reading more about the characters featured in the Amaranthine world.
