Broken Arrow

In 1968 a nuclear armed B-52 Bomber may crash in North Dakota. Sergeant Robert Baker and the rest of the Broken Arrow response team wait beside the icy runway for the bomber to land. Robert thinks of his past, his new bride and prays. About Rod Wright

My father was an Air Force Master Sergeant. I lived in many places including California, Hawaii and Texas. I graduated from Temple High School, Temple Texas. I attended Baylor University and received a BS degree with a major in biology and a minor in geology. I trained in the United States Air Force as a military public health specialist. When I was discharged from the Air Force, I worked as a health inspector for the city of Beaumont Texas. After leaving Beaumont, I was employed by the Texas Department of Health. First working in the Product Safety Division, and then transferring to Radiation Control, I worked as a X-ray machine inspector and a radioactive materials inspector. I retired as the Radiation Control Program Manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
I have been married to the same wonderful lady for forty six years. We have two children and four grandchildren.
Over the years, I have had articles published in the Grand Forks Air Force Base news paper, The North Texas Health Physicist news letter, the Texas Gun Collector's magazine and the Dallas Arms Collector's News. Currently I am the editor for the Dallas Arms Collector News. My current interests are my family, reading, writing, and collecting antique firearms.
The wife and I live live in Texas.
