About Loretta Tollefson

Loretta Miles Tollefson has been publishing fiction and poetry since 1975. She grew up in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and moved to Seattle in her early twenties, where she saw first hand the impact of the recession of the early 1980's. This experience resulted in her novel Crown of Laurel. Loretta holds a B.S. in Bible Education from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. A prize-winning poet, Loretta holds M.A.'s from the University of New Mexico in Communication and in English Literature. You can find more information about Loretta's work, and her blog, at
