About Jennifer Colgan

Having narrowly missed being crushed by an avalanche of Star Trek novels as a teenager, Jennifer Colgan vowed to one day cause the book shelves of avid readers all over the world to collapse under their own weight.

Now multi-published under her own name and as her alter ego, Bernadette Gardner, Jennifer has arrived in the digital age and instead hopes to be responsible for overloading the memory cards of e-book readers everywhere with her paranormal, futuristic and science-fiction romances.

Great book. Read it a few hours. The storyline was captivating and interesting. However i wished that the end was a bit different concerning the sister. Other than that good job

Do not like. High school level writing with vampires and sex. I guess that sells? It's got a wrote sex chapter, VERY explicit and dominant. Extremely disappointed.

I really loved this book. I downloaded it for free and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. So much so, that I'm back to purchase Flight of the Valkyrie. I would love to see more of Colgan's vampire world.

great book, i enjoyed every single bit of it. though i do wonder what would happen to them later on, does she become like him? does she reunite and forgive her sister? do they all live "happily ever after"? or as close as a vampire story can get? great book either way. =) 5 stars from me..

Really good I was very impressed the story hooks you from the beginning and keeps you going with a lot of twists and turns but also a lot of passion between the leads. Please write some more, the world you created was very good.

Straight laced young lady meets and falls in love with a dominate man. Been done.
With a dominate vampire... probably not so much.
The work was very well written with lots of nice little plot twists at appropriate moments. The sex scenes sizzle with the perfect blend of description and artistic eroticism. It is all told, a great read.
I too would love to see a sequel of this work. We can only hope!

This is one of the prime examples why you should never judge a book's quality & content solely by its price. This was one of those "can't-put-em-down" reads. The characters Erica and Max were very likable, well-rounded, and the chemistry between these two protagonists was beautifully written. Colgan took my heart around chapter one then kindly handed it back to me by the end of the book. You cared about the characters--so important. I enjoyed the fact that the plot behind this was solid and kept you guessing.

This kind of human seeks vamp help to find loved one plot has been done before, but I liked the vampire detective twist that Colgan took on it. The romance scenes were lovely and captivating. The vixen in me would've loved if they were longer. I wasn't particularly fond of the POV change between the two protagonists always being indicated by "***". I prefer stories where it blends but is still distinct to avoid confusion. But aside from that, this story was great. It shall remain on my kindle. The ending seems to suggest there might be a sequel, and if so, I'll definitely be picking it up.

Great story! The plot moved right along, never leaving those WTF moments that you sometimes find in books. I'll be looking for more from this author.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was very upset when it came to an end. A second book would be wonderful maybe a sequel and possibly get a better glimpse on Lucas or follow on how Max and Erica have continued on with their relationship.
