I am an aspiring writer living in coastal North Carolina. I have written stories in many different genres, most of which favor surrealism and dramatic fantasy. I especially love stories depicting animals in such a way that it represents human culture (e.g. Aesop’s Fables). I have joined Smashwords in an effort to make some of my lesser known works available to the reading public. Also, you can read my blog at http://tkwadeauthor.blogspot.com/

Lots of different animals live in the Cottontail Pines. The children of the town were anxiously waiting for the Kindred Hearts Day. Mr. Hooty the Owl told Flopsy (f, white bunny), Blacky (skunk), Goober (brown rabbit), & Gumdrop (mouse) about the annual event. Flopsy invied Powder (m, gray rabbit) to Donut Park.
Cool book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written delightful children’s tale (book). It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could make a great children’s movie, animated cartoon or mini TV series. A very easy rating of 5 stars for this short story (book).
Thank you for the free short story (book)
