Dr. Andrea Scarsi - meditation teacher, metaphysician, and author - was born in the mainland of Venice, Italy, in 1955, into a Christian catholic family. At five, he survives a murder attempt by a girl the same age, pushing him into an irrigation canal. At seven, due to high fevers, he begins having out-of-body experiences: he’s at first finding himself watching from the ceiling. At fourteen, he steps aside his religious upbringing, to be free of exploring other doctrines. At fifteen he begins practicing yoga and spiritualism and experimenting with telepathy. At seventeen he receives his first initiation: the Inner Light activation. At eighteen, during a motorbike accident, he's having his first near-death experience: he knows he’s going to die; he sees his whole life in a single flash; disintegrates and comes back reappearing in a quiet lake of stillness and silence beyond the mind. After that experience, also representing the breaking of his physical integrity, he begins contacting and channeling alien entities and visiting other dimensions.
At nineteen, he jumps into macrobiotic. At twenty-one, a friend introduces him to Tibetan Buddhism, and at twenty-three, in Oaxaca, Mexico, on the Mayan and Shamans’ trail, he's having his second near-death experience: it's the end, he tries to resist, there's no way, and finally let go. At twenty-four, on his first trip to India, he definitely enters the world of meditation, mysticism, and Zen lovely guided by India itself and by the spiritual master Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, now known as Osho, to whom, at thirty-two - eight years after his first visit - he asks to become his disciple receiving the title of Swami, meaning master of himself, and the name Prem Sandesh, meaning Message of Love. At twenty-eight, in Lhasa, inside the Potala he begins remembering his past lives.
In 1980, '82 and '88, three, intense Satoris, explosions of awareness, fall on his head. The first one happens in Poona, India: he's sitting alone on the last railway station bench, waiting for a train to the other coast, and it suddenly manifests as the simultaneous perception of all; a single, omni-perceptive sense organ of consciousness. It’s soft, fulfilling and nourishing. The second one, in Padua, Italy, in a friend’s house, manifests as the consciousness disconnected from all; absolute separation, isolation and solitude; absence of ties, links, connections, and exchange. It's too direct, scary and paranoid. The third one, in Goa, India manifests while he's walking on the beach at night, with a friend, and explodes as the sky falling on his head. Mystics would say: as the ocean falling into the dewdrop. It's too big and breaking up. Both the last two are frightening and dramatic, requiring three years each, for absorption. Three years in which he's lost, cut off, and crazy, desperately searching for something to hang on to.
Vegetarian since 1981, in ‘99 and ‘00, in Goa, he takes experiment on the Pranic initiation: Living on Light. It's a 21 day retreat in solitude, silence and fasting which enriches his life bringing further dept and freedom to his meditation and understanding. During his second practice, he experiences dissolving into the Absolute Silence, which he defines as unlimited pure nothingness, empty and vibrant, astonishing in pleasure. In 2004, he's having a similar practice, for a week, in darkness: resting and restoring.
Through the years, he studies and deepens different meditation techniques, for awakening consciousness, energy balancing, and personal evolution, which he practices and teaches. He leads meditation groups and sessions, conferences, retreats, and meetings in truth, in Italy, India, and the whole world, where he indicates the absolute.
Doctor of Metaphysical Science, Holistic Life Coach, Reiki Grand Master, KarunaReiki®, Crystals, Shaman, and Meditation Master, he's the author of several books on spirituality. Married with Ma Advaita Krisana, meaning Pearl of Non Duality, he resides between the mainland of Venice, Italy, and Goa, India.
