He's got the urge to perfect his young life on a simple, basic level and to not look away from the beauty and suffering he will find. The house he lives in is filled with a cross section of New Orleans' lost and searching souls, one of which becomes a challenging and tragic friend that will test all boundaries. This book is an exploration of not just New Orleans from the sidewalk up but also what it feels like to be young, hungry for meaning, and available to whatever comes along.
