Extended description

Knowledge to go Places was first pitched to me as an idea my friends had. They presented this idea for a novel after I came to the realization that I wished to be an author. That was in the fall of 2004.

Beginning with the first day of school, at the dorms, Knowledge to go Places captures the events that took place, and the people encountered, over eight years of the life of the main character. Set in Colorado and New Mexico, the story follows as he grows through many jobs, majors, women, and explores different parts of the country. Attending four different colleges, he meets a number of interesting people along the way.

The novel becomes less about him, and more about itself, as the story is revealed. It highlights the obstacles he has to overcome to become a writer.
