Extended description

A collection of one poem and nine unrelated haiku poems, featuring seven previously published and three original poems.

The first poem, "A Pumpkin's Life," is about Dear Old Jack who was born small on the vine but lived an exciting life as a pumpkin for one Halloween night. (Published in Perspectives Magazine, January 2010.)

The nine haiku poems include: "A Writer's Fury," "At The Potter's House," "Before Winter Approaches," "Gone Swimming," "Green Peas," "Mount Wilson," "Spider Plant" (all were first published in the Seventeen Syllables anthology, Soft Whispers / April 2010), "Black Bumble Bee," and "The Lord's Pasture."

"Some of the poems were better than others, but overall, was a worthwhile read." - Maranda Russell
