We are grateful for the support of many fans and hope to gain more friends in the coming years. The long poem How I Got Over is our step in that direction.
Perhaps Mahalia Jackson said it best in her iconic rendition of "How I Got Over." In this long poem, the narrator speaks of her trials and tribulations heaped on her by a selfish and uncaring lover. In the end she puts everything in the hands of the Lord. Her revenge comes when the lover dies. And even then her comforting him at the grave is a unique revenge.
