Getting into trouble with the law as a young man became a turning point in David's life. The Lord used that experience to draw David into a personal relationship with Him. Re-focusing his life for Christ, David now seeks to honor God with his life and his writing.
Because of his interest in the Persecuted Church and missions, many of D.I. Telbat's stories are about persecuted Christians--their hardships, sacrifices, and rescues. Many of his novels include espionage and sometimes spiritual battles.
David studied writing in college, and worked in the newspaper field, but now he is doing what he loves: writing and ministry. When not busy with ministry, he focuses on writing novels, short stories, blog posts, and curriculum for prison ministries.
Though now living in California, he has kept his home office in the Northwest U.S. where his assistant, Dee, lives and helps with his writing and editing needs.
There is no redemption without sacrifice.

"Arabian Variable" is a great title. As a variable isn't noticed until the problem is solved there is no deliverance from the Father until we step aside. The hero is out to rescue his family & another from the grip if Islamic tyranny. He finds the Lord pre-arranging answers before he arrives at the end of the equation. This is a good book to learn about Islamuc cystoms and thought. This is a better book in that it reminds me how I need to remain in His presence more than I tell myself I am. I do recommend D.I. Telbat's novels to my friends & family. Get your summer reading together, get those graduation presents bought. This is a solid author to pass on to others.
