What a wonderful ending to a heart stopping adventure. I love the descriptions of the Emperion castle and all the little details that really make Rema realize that this is her destiny. Their were parts that made me cry but with a book called War their bound to be that. I love how we got more background on each of the characters that we gotten to know over the course of this series. Thanks for a great adventure Jennifer.

*This Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review*

War, the final book in the True Reign Series, is so incredible I could not put it down. It was everything I wanted and more. I was one of the lucky few to read it early, and since my first look at it, I’ve read it at least 5 times. And I’m still ready for more! (Looking forward to reading it again today!) War left little more to be desired as author Jennifer Anne Davis expertly crafted and concluded the trilogy. If you’d let me, I’d rave all day about it, but then I might spoil something, and we wouldn’t want that. Let me say this. It’s always scary to reach the end of a series, especially one you really like, because you’re afraid the book won’t meet all your expectations. Well, War definitely does (or should, at least. If you expect everyone to turn into unicorns, you’ll be sorely disappointed. However, if you expect an exciting adventure and battle to win the kingdom and Rema’s birthright, you will not be. – That’s not a spoiler, right? The book’s called War, right?)

War is one of those books that pulls you in and makes you wish you could protect your favorite characters from peril. After reading The Key and Red, I’m sure you have those favorite characters. Well, get ready to try to protect them. I can’t say whether or not you will succeed. I can say, however, that you will feel every minute of it. You will be wrapped up as tightly in the adventure as our heroes and heroines. War is everything a book (especially a conclusion to a series) should be. It is exciting, adventurous, mysterious, and has a great ending. It will keep you guessing at your favorite characters’ fate(s) and keep you reading more. It is a must read that will not disappoint. It will, perhaps, leave you with a hangover, though, so read with caution. Oh, who am I kidding? Throw caution to the wind and enjoy!
