Short description

Mia was as happy as she could be in her life. She was alone. She didn't have to worry about sharing the shower, the bed or her coffee. She also didn't have to worry about waking up to find anyone pulled apart. Memories of her parants haunted her, and she didn't want to fail anyone else again.

Aric was a loner as well, but for much different reasons. He wasn't human and hated himself for it. 357 years old, and he believed himself to be the monsters that Mia feared.

But chemistry created a fire that neither could escape, and as desire flared, so did the hatred of a long hidden nemesis.
