About Josephine Harwood

When I was fresh out of high school back in the early Eighties, I wanted to be the next Pat Benatar or Joan Jett. I sang in a couple of bands, but neither Pat nor Joan had anything to worry about.

Despite my desire to become a famous rock singer, my heart had always held an even deeper passion for writing. When something touched me emotionally whether it was directly or indirectly, I had to write about it.
Fast forward to the present, I am married to my high school sweetheart, I am a family caregiver, and I am currently working on my third book.

I am very blessed with a life I didn't plan.

So, I hope you enjoy reading my books written the only way I know how to write...from my heart.
Sincerely, Josephine

I absolutely devoured this authors first book "Dark Secrets" so when Empathy was released I knew I would purchase it. The subject of elder care causes some discomfort for me so I started reading it uneasily. This amazing author got straight to my heart in the most comforting way; directly. Amazing touch of truth mixed with a what's next storyline. Every character is brought to life in every chapter with amazing detail. The depth this author can take you in such an easy read is, well, exhilarating! Looking forward to her next book! She writes from her heart for our pleasure! Get this book!

Awesome book! If you have ever had the experience of being a caregiver this is a straight to the heart read. To steal the phrase, you can definitely "empathize" with Delilah and just feel the play of emotions she is going through. I could honestly see this book becoming a movie that would lead the audience through the different highs and lows and leaving with that "wow" feeling. Having been in the role of a caregiver this really hit home and was very touching. A must read. And while your at it read "Dark Secrets" by this author. Another must read. Can't wait for the next book! Keep up the good work.

First of all, I absolutely love the mention of Gemini and the band member and how it ties in to Starview, Texas in the book Dark Secrets! When I saw those parts, I relived Dark Secrets in my head as if I was watching a well loved movie! Truly perfect hon! I ran the myriad of emotions with this wonderful book! The scenes are so realistic and descriptive that I honestly felt I was living Delilah's life and not just watching a movie in my head as I read it! I felt and experienced every emotion Delilah did! I honestly could not put it down and neither could my sister who has cancer. Having been a caregiver myself, I could tell this was written from experience and from Jospehine's heart and that just made it all the more realistic, enchanting, and kept me reading it all in one sitting from beginning to end, not able to put it down for one second! I could really relate to the book in more ways than one.
Josephine Harwood is definately an author to watch! She is going to be the next #1 Best selling author of all time, I have no doubt about that! Thank you so much for your wonderful talent you have shared with the world! I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
