Short description

My account including legal corespondance of my Daughters Death at the hand of a 15 year old irresponsible motorcyclist. Was the Coroners verdict the right one. In my opinion and the opinion of independant resources since that day, that the Verdict was flawed. No charges were ever brought against the boy for her Death.

Extended description

I have waited 33 years to be able to put this story together. I decided now at my age I should put my affairs in order. That in this day of Human Rights. It was time I had my rights because my 16 year old daughter never had any rights. her rights were taken together with her life. When a 15 year old boy decided to ride his fathers Trials Motorcycle into her and her Soldier boy friend whilst they were sun batheing in Elliots Field.

To read a novel or watch a film is soon forgotten.
To read a truly tragic story, written by an ordinary familly is something different. They have suffered a miscarriage of justice and have carried on with life for so many years with this burden that few people will know how they feel. I have read the story three times, many facts will never be forgotten. Couples in similar circumstances will know the devastation the loss of a child brings to a familly. The loss never fades. God bless you both.
Well done.
David pearson.

I find it hard to write this as I have just finished this very tragic account of Christine's story and am choked by sadness and the injustice. It doesn't seem right that public money is squandered on legal aid for cases that are not as deserving as this one. I do not profess to know much about police investigations but the Kent police involved must hang their heads in shame for the way in which they conducted the case. I must thank Mavis and Ray for sharing this very personal story.
