Nothing is for nothing. One’s personal philosophy has a direct bearing on one’s success in life. The Bible states that as a man thinks, so is he. I concur, after years of learning this truth, at first hand, through my own life and the lives of others. Presently, my personal philosophy is premised on what I coin, the seven Rs of life: Reason, Relevance, Resilience, Romance, Reality, Respect and Rationality.
I was born in Ghana, West Africa. My love of writing started at a very early age. I believe that more meaning is added to life by way of individual and collective expression. All of us have our own unique nuances and perspectives. This is what gives life its essential mosaic.
I am also an Associate Editor for One Ghana, One Voice, the leading e-zine for Ghanaian poetry. I have edited five anthologies of poetry by African poets: The War Against War, We Are One People, Defiled Sacredness, Whispers in the Whirlwind and Visions of the Motherland. I work as a freelance translator/interpreter for various US state courts.
I hope my poems, proverbs, short stories, novels and essays will help someone out there to enjoy the beauty of life. Thank you.
