This was another good book in the series. I enjoyed reading more about Sara and Caleb in this one and I really enjoyed Matthew in this book. Lainie and Dan did admittedly annoy me at times during this book though. I'm looking forward to Book 3 just the same. :)

Just when you think a series of books can't get better, it does. While this is the second in Ms. Belle's series about the Black Wolf brothers it's actually the third I've read and I'm so pleased to say that this one doesn't disappoint.

While it's hard to pick a favorite brother out of this talented family, I think Matthew will come close to mine. Struggling to accept his own life and finding it hard to be alone after he sees his brother's happiness at being married, he soon finds not only love and friendship with Lainie but also competition with his own cousin for her affection.

It's clear that Ms. Belle truly enjoys and understands the world that she has created as the reader will feel apart of the Black Wolf family as we wonder who will win the heart of Lainie Two Kettles…Matthew or his cousin. Another wonderful book in this series!
