About Gavin Tyte

Revd Gavin Tyte (aka TyTe) is a teacher, beatboxer, poet and ordained minister. He’s been beatboxing since he was about 8 years old, and is one of the pioneers of the beatboxing scene, having created the world’s first beatboxing videos on the Internet.
Tyte been a regular judge of the UK beatboxing championships and helped grow the online beatboxing community at HUMANBEATBOX.COM to over 40,000 members.

Gavin gained a Certificate in Further and Higher Education from Southampton University in 2000 and was ordained in 2004. The Hip-Hop Gospel brings together Gavin’s skills as a writer, performer, theologian, sound designer, beatboxer, graphic designer and videographer.
