I was was born in the town of Zell Am See in the Austrian Alps on February 24, 1951. From there I moved to the town of Livorno on the northwest coast of Italy.
Crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a ship in 1956 I spent the next fifty-three years exploring New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta and Savannah, Ga., Miami, Fla, New Orleans, La., Houston and Dallas, TX., Denver, Colo., San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Carmel, Santa Cruz and San Francisco, Ca., Eugene, Ore., Seattle, Wash., and Honolulu, Hawaii.
Having spent so much time in major metropolitan areas I am taking a break in the mountains of western North Carolina.
Painting and writing are my passions.
My philosophy is based on a saying by the Artist Francis Bacon, “ Life is but a spasm of consciousness between two voids, and that being the case, one may as well be extraordinary.”
