About JM Carydice

I am the fourth child from a family of six and I grew up in a single parent household.
My father (God rest his soul), died quite unexpectedly, at the age of 36, hence leaving my mother to raise her children alone (which I think she did brilliantly - but that's another story).
Things were never easy, money wise or other. But that didn't really matter to us because we had a pleasant upbringing (courtesy of my dearest mother 'Mrs Daisy May). Mother was excellent and replaced our material losses with lots of love, security and other child friendly goodies instead.
I've always enjoyed writing and 'Aaron Apple and the Rain' (being my only publication to date), is the first book of a compilation I'm creating about the alphabetical fruit and vegetable bunch (so keep a look out for book 2).
It is an excellent story book checkout some of its reviews at: ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B00BKCCBR2/ )
I chose to write children's books first because even though my field is administration, I have actually spent over thirty years caring for children (both professionally and privately). I therefore feel, I have a good understanding of the things children enjoy doing and how they like to learn.
Right about now, I am in the process of completing two novels. The first is titled 'Olivia McCarthy' which I hope to finish within the next few months and the other is 'Never Judge a Book' (my baby). But I've not set a deadline for that one, yet.
I just pray my books are well received, as my aim is to please my followers and I hope you've enjoyed this brief bio about me too, cause 'That's all (for now) folks!
Chaow...
