About Verica Peacock

Born in Croatia in 1930, Verica Peacock came to England at 16. She lived with her husband in Essex, UK, has two grown up children and four grandsons. After several careers she became a secondary school teacher. Although she had a massive stroke in her forties, she recovered well and returned to teaching Commerce, English, Drama and German for many years. Since retiring at 68 she had had many articles and poems published in newspapers, magazines and anthologies in England, Croatia and Romania and has won prizes for her essays, poetry and haiku.
Sadly, Verica Peacock died in January 2014.

I found this a very interesting read as I'm sure others pe will. Verica has obviously put her all into getting the book together and I congratulate her.
