About Jeanette Sacco Saponaro

Jeanette Sacco Saponaro was born in the Chicago suburbs to Italian immigrant parents. Her childhood and adolescence were greatly influenced by Italian culture, customs, and language. Her passion for Italy and its language flourished as she prepared to become an Italian teacher. Her first trip to Italy resulted in an intense period of inspiration in Italian. She published her first poem in 1979, "Ho scoperto una stella", followed by "Un fiore rubato", and "L'Arcobaleno" in "Calabria Letteraria (Rubettino Editore). Years later, she began translating her work into English. "Dentro e Fuori - Inside Out" is a journey for all those who follow their heart. She enjoys writing about life, love, family, nature and the entire spectrum of human emotion. She continues to teach Italian to high school students.

I especially enjoyed this poetry book ... the poems were comforting and beautiful ... the author was able to capture the deepest emotions of love and put them into words ... I highly recommend this book of soothing poems ... Love Love Love every single one of the poems ... will re-read this book over and over again ...
