Description

Army is serious business. But with the Army comes tears and laughter. Anecdotes from life in the Army that look at the Army with a wink and a twinkle are described in this book. These anecdotes could happen to any Army personnel from any of the Armies of the world. Most of the anecdotes are true. Some are a mix of fact and fiction, with facts dominating the fact-fiction mix.

Witty prose on the Indian army. A delightful read that gives the reader a peek into sense of joy, struggles and sacrifices of proud servicemen/women. Way to go Ashish. Do write a sequel!

The book gives a delightful peep into life in the Army and the Academy. There is fun as there is toil and tears. The book leaves one asking for more. Good job !

A wonderful read, giving an insight into what makes a Cadet/officer tick . Miltary anecdotes ,delightfully expressed humorously, conceal deeper thoughts and lessons
which a soldier imbibes in his journey of character building spanning a lifetime in the defence forces.
Ashis Roy's best is yet to come......and a whole lot of us are waiting eagerly for it!!

A heart-warming account of life in the Indian army. The characters, the situations they go through, the comic and often tragic faces of truth.. A truly delightful read, I'm waiting for more..!
