I know the tales of when the harbinger first arrived and wiped out most of humanity. But that was long ago before I was even born. The world now is nothing but ruins. Mankind has become nothing but scavengers and murderers trying desperately to survive.
We prey on each other so we may see another day. But as the sun sets we all huddle together around our campfires praying we don’t see the light of the fireflies. Because where there is light, there is death.
But there is a tale we all share. A story that tells of a wall to the south that keeps out the Harbinger. A wall that protects its people from death, a wall that guards an untouched land of the Free…
We made up our minds to find this land. We knew it was a long shot at best, probably not even true. But what else could we have done besides sit and wait to die.
