This was an extremely enjoyable read!

I loved the idea of magical doors used to visit other places, and linking items to make for easier living, e.g. being able to carry a small basket, where items are placed then transported to a bigger, more cumbersome basket - clever!

A Doormaster feels like an original thought, and by using an apprentice for the adventures, further adds to the authentic ring and fun.

This was a well-written fantasy tale, filled with magic, enchantment and wonderfully detailed and realistic characters - as well as the fight for good against evil.

Highly recommended.
