About Janell Loveland

I love to write, it is my outlet for everything. I can't talk for the life of me. Every wonderful thought gets lost in translation on the way to my mouth and I end up sputtering gibberish. So if we need to talk, be prepared for a letter, or else I won't make a lick of sense. If you would like to read more from me, feel free to follow the link below to my other Smashwords page.

This is a stream-of-consciousness style short story which explores the innermost thoughts and feelings of the narrator in a revealing, intimate manner.

This is an interesting, riveting short piece about all of the emotions that entangle us during a break-up. I especially loved this sentence:

Now, those eyes droop with saltwater-laced heartbreak.

even though I think she needs just a bit of help with proofreading and copyediting. (Sorry, I just had to fix that sentence, but that's minor stuff.) Good luck to you . . . and keep on writing!

Only four stars because of the minor things that take the reader's attention from the actual writing.

Wow, what an emotional read. You know you've found a good writter when you can feel the characters pain. I had trouble not tearing up.

I love your cover. Your story was poignant and full of emotion and feeling, although I do not know why it must always be a happy ending. I felt it would have done the story more justice if she did not come back. I enjoyed it though.
