Boring, typically structured, descritive words added for the sake of description. A real snoozer.

This eBook by John Dodds will have you reading on long into the night, for just when you decide to finish a chapter, you make the mistake of glancing at the next chapter – and then the author has you hooked! A sleepless night. Mercifully, it means you finish the book in record time, because you get totally engrossed in the story.

This is a fast-moving thriller that has a great plot, in fact, it has a few sub plots and you don’t know quite where it is all leading to. John Dodds has a writing style that is easy to read and his characters are believable.

I agree with another reviewer (cara doran) who commented that this book would make a great movie. Detective Inspector Kendrick could be another Rebus – or John Hannah and Ken Stott could play two of the other characters with Bill Paterson as DI Kendrick. I think any good actor would love to have a part in Bone Machines. Well worth paying a few cents or pennies to download this excellent eBook.

Very dark, in a seductive kind of way. It is as much a psychological study as it is a thriller. Highly recommended, but not a book for insomniacs.

Gripping story from the first sentence. Mr. Dodds gets your attention quickly as you are immediately introduced to the monster he's created for those of us who enjoy having the bejeesus frightened out us! His cunning and shrewd main character will hold you spellbound with his sick charm and titalate the murderous instinct we bury deep in our soul closet...nice work sir...thank you!

A fantastically gripping and unique take on the serial killer genre. All the time I was reading I was imagining what a great movie it would make.
