can't complain....even our Indian tv serials [ghost series like Aahat etc]...end up in similar style... body parts in freezer, or chemical containers....

STILL, your story is nice....nicer is your talent in using precise lines.....I enjoyed it.

There is so much more that could be explored in this ghost story. As it stands, the story feels somewhat rushed and incomplete. There are a few creepy moments, however, which does help save this from being a disaster. By its conclusion, I wanted more answers and more from the characters (which speaks to Scribner's abilities). I wanted to know these people better and was disappointed I wasn't given that opportunity.

As a short horror story, it almost works. Its flaws have nothing do with the writer's talents, and everything to do with the story feeling like it was rushed to its conclusion. This could have been and should've been a novel.
