Captain Jack Talbot has a tale to tell. He needs to get the guilt of the terrible events that happened as a result of the wreck of the Marie Jenny.

A shipment of gold, a secret not well kept, results in a pursuit across Lake Superior as wreckers try to force Captain Jack's ship onto the rocks. Side, by side the ships race until they reach the infamous Au Sable reef. The Marie Jenny goes down in deep water, leaving the gold out of reach.

The wreckers escape, but they have a big problem, Captain Jack and some of his crew are still alive.
