I thought that the writing was outstanding in this book and unlike many of Ms. Summers' contemporary peers, she does not throw in awkward gratuitous sex scenes. Instead, she uses her talents to build excitement and intrigue in both the characters and the reader. After reading the first book, I subsequently bought the rest of the series and would encourage any reader interested in paranormal or sci-fi erotica to give it a read. You won't be disappointed.

I have bought the whole series of these books. I read these when they came out through another publisher and really enjoyed them. Purchased all of the extended series as well. I have read the first one so far and I'm thrilled with the extended version as well. The characters are wonderful, the men are exotic and sexy, the story line is great and the sex in the story is hot, hot, hot. I didn't want to put the book down. I can't wait to read the other stories as well. I really love Jordan's writing and I look forward to reading all of the other books I've purchased.

A bit confusing in parts with the charactors popping up but I really liked the alpha hero who lets no one stand in his way for his goal! Heated scenes kept me a captivated reader. I recommend this read and will purchase the next one...
