The story follows a 17 year old girl, with clairvoyant and telepathic abilities, who is sent to a high school named Voyance–the French word for seeing–which is located on the Florida coast, for students such as herself for her senior year. She must learn how to navigate in a new environment, make new friends, and rise to the challenges that being psychic present for her and her classmates. She soon finds herself falling for the school administrator’s only son. As their relationship grows, so does her confidence and her appreciation for herself and her gifts. Together they discover that the school is really a cover-up for an organized crime ring that is trying to recruit talented students. They must find a way to escape from this organization and expose them for what they really are, without risking their relationship, their own lives, or the lives of those they love.
